Quick Tip- Cutting Straight Lines in Carbon Fabric

Today is a quick and simple way to cut straight lines in carbon. This is useful if you happen to be cutting square pieces for your part, or if you want to square up the end of your roll to your table so you know you are cutting the fabric with square and straight weave. Its also only possible on dry fabric and will not work on pre-pregs. To find a straight line, no matter if your fabric is pulled out uneven, simply grab the end of one or two of the tows and pull it out. It will leave a distinct line across your fabric. Now you can cut a straight line, even if the fabric isn’t straight. Starting with a straight line also decreases the chances of strays and little pieces of carbon pulling off the ends.
